Rebuilding Mercedes instrument clusters is our specialty. We were the first in the world to be able to repair the 215 and 220 Clusters. We are so efficient with these, that if we receive them by noon, they will go out the same day, and if we receive them in the afternoon, they will go out the next day. Other model clusters have only a 24-48 hour turnaround time. With any cluster we repair, there is no need to reprogram! Just plug it in and you are ready to go!

Here is some basic information on instrument clusters:

There are 3 types of clusters:

Cable Driven
       107 Chassis up to 1980, 116 Chassis, 124 Chassis
Electro-Mechanical
       126 Chassis, 107 Chassis (1980 and up)
Electronic
       129, 140 Chassis, and also 163, 170, and up

We repair clusters for 107, 129, 140, 202, 203, 208, 210, 211, 215, and 220 Chassis. For others, please call.
Prices depend on what style cluster you have and what repair work needs to be done.

For 129 and 140 Chassis: $400
For 215 and 220 Chassis: $425

Cluster removal

Removing the instrument cluster is an easy task. You only need one set of tools - radio removal keys. They can be purchased from the dealer for $7 or we can send them to you overnight for a $20 deposit (the deposit will be taken off the repair cost). On the left and right side of the instrument cluster there are two slots. This is where you will insert the keys. Tilt the steering wheel as far down as it goes. Be sure to leave the ignition key in the on position!

Insert the keys in the slots and pull on the keys. When the cluster comes out, remove the rear plug on the cluster (there is a clip that you have to press to release the plug)

And you are done!

Notes:

Don't worry if you can't get the keys out of the cluster- we'll get them out for you.

Be sure to package the cluster well as the plastic can be cracked during shipment.

Be sure to include your contact information as well as a description of the problem you are having.

Also, tell us if your cluster has been previously tampered with

All cluster repairs come with a two year warranty.

Once the cluster has been repaired, we will contact you about the repair price and method of payment and shipping. We accept PayPal payments, or we can ship COD.

Remember, to receive the core charge back, the unit must be rebuildable. This one is not rebuildable!

Important note:

-We will not roll back the mileage on your cluster so do not ask.

-We can provide you with a loner cluster if you need one while repairs are being made to yours. We also have new clusters that your mechanic or dealer could program with your mileage.

- We will not adjust mileage so do not ask, but if you have the SDS, WinStar, or Autologic software, we can send you a zeroed cluster and you can program the necessary mileage on it. Speedometer shops can also adjust mileage.
